CFM, the journey continues

Since its creation in 1974, CFM International has become one of the world’s leading suppliers of jet engines for commercial airplanes. CFM engines set the industry standard for technical innovation, reliability and cost of ownership. 5 years after entering service, the LEAP engine, the successor to the CFM56, passed the 10 million flight hour mark in 2021. The journey continues: on Monday 14th of June, GE Aviation and Safran have launched the Advanced Technology Demonstration Program for Sustainable Engines and extended the CFM Partnership to 2050.
