    Safran (Safran Landing Systems) designs, manufactures and provides support for the main landing gear of the A350 XWB. This landing gear, equipped with 18 wheels, satisfies the low weight, high reliability and low cost of ownership targets on this programme. Safran Landing Systems also equips the A350 XWB with wheels and carbon brakes as well as the landing gear extension-retraction system, the monitoring system, the steering system and the braking system.
