The Safran Foundation for Integration supports La Bergerie de Berdine
The La Bergerie de Berdine association aims to accommodate people, mainly young people, in great difficulty (people with addictions, school drop-outs, people experiencing family and/or professional breakdowns, disabling illnesses, etc.), to help them regain a proper place in society. In 2019, the Safran Foundation for Integration chose to support this initiative because it corresponds to one of its purposes, which is to help young people who are seriously excluded.
All about cobot
The cobot is not autonomous like a robot : It is part of the "collaborative robots" sphere. The operator is in control, while the robotic system performs and makes the task safe. They interact either remotely by remote operation or the operator manually handles the cobot in situ.

Disability Employment: Safran is getting involved!
Since 2011, Safran has been pursuing a proactive policy to support people with disabilities, with specific recruitment measures to ensure job retention and facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities into its facilities. Safran's sites in France are using the European Disability Employment Week to demonstrate their commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities. All companies are involved and putting on several activities within facilities. The goal is to change the way people perceive disability.
