Florent Illat, Head of Safran Corporate Ventures

Florent Illat began his career in 2004 as an Equity Capital Market analyst at Société Générale. In 2006, he joined the Paris office of McKinsey as a strategy consultant for major groups and investment funds. In 2013, he became Senior VP of Quadrille Capital, a private equity and venture capital firm specializing in investment in innovation and technology, where he was involved around 10 investments in startups and funds in Europe and the United States.
Florent Illat holds degrees from the École Centrale de Paris in 2006.
Maxime Teulon, Investment Director of Safran Corporate Ventures
Maxime Teulon joined Safran in 2014, within the Mergers & Acquisitions department, where he conducted various projects of acquisitions, disposals and JV creations for the Group worldwide. Before that, Maxime worked for UBS Investment Bank in mergers & acquisitions and then as an internal auditor for Nestlé. Maxime Teulon graduated from ESCP Europe (2011).
Nicolas Franck, Investment Director of Safran Corporate Ventures

Nicolas Franck joined Safran Corporate Ventures on November 1, 2016, after 18 years at Safran Aircraft Engines (formerly Snecma). He held various positions at the Technical Division (Engine Performance Department), the Space Engines Division (Head of improvement initiative, Black Belt), and the Industrial Division (Lean & Progress Director, then Head of Turbine Blade Casting Unit).
Nicolas Franck graduated from Ecole Centrale Paris (1998) and from Cranfield University with a MSc in Aerodynamics (1998).
The Safran Corporate Ventures team works closely with the Group's technical and business experts, benefiting from their expertise and experience in analyzing business cases and creating shared value between the startups in its portfolio and Safran.
