Expertise and experience

Jean-Pierre joined Snecma in 1980, where he held various Engineering positions in the Design Office. In 1990, he took over BP and HP compressors design responsibility for General Electric's GE90 engine, and in 1996 became Chief Engineer for the CFM56 engines for the Airbus A320 family. In 1998, he was named Chief Engineer, then Program Vice President of large civil engines. In 2003, he was named Messier-Dowty's Vice President, Research & Technology, before joining Safran in 2008 as head of the composite Landing gear braces for the Boeing B787. In 2011, he was appointed Vice president of the 2nd generation LEAP program. He joined Safran Aircraft Engines in March 2016 as EPI senior executive vice president for the TP400 PGB/Combustor. In 2018, Jean-Pierre has held the position of Director of R&T for Safran Transmission Systems.

Since 2021, Jean-Pierre SEREY is appointed Vice-President, RGB Departement, Safran Transmission Systems.
