Expertise and experience

As graduate of ENSAM and Georgia Tech, Vincent began his career at Snecma in the Machining Competence Center in 2005. He was in charge of material integrity issues, including the M&P part of the RoMan (Rotor Manufacturing) project with the CEI Rotating

Parts CoE ad GE. He also built the roadmap for the machining processes modeling. Trained in Black-Belt at the end of 2007, he led several improvement projects and participated in the implementation of Lean Mini- Transformations between 2008 and 2009 within the DT and DI. From 2010 to 2012, he was in charge of the Materials-Chemistry-Expertise-NDE Laboratory in the Space Engines Division. In 2013, at the launch of the Safran R&T Center project, he was in charge of defining and setting up the Materials and Processes activities and the associated laboratories. In January 2015, he was appointed Deputy Director of Safran Materials and Processes and was in charge of networks and partnerships. Since August 2015, Vincent Dessoly was Head of the Materials and Processes Division at Safran Aircraft Engines.

Since 2021, Vincent DESSOLY is appointed Vice President Engineering at Safran Transmission Systems.
