Sylvain Dermenghem

Since November 1^st 2023, Sylvain DERMENGHEM is nominated as VP Programs for Safran Transmission Systems. He is responsible for Safran Aircraft Engines, Dassault, Rolls-Royce, Helicopters and R&T Programs, as well as Project Management Office.

Sylvain began his career in 1998 at Snecma in the methods department at Large Cases Production Unit in Corbeil, then in Manufacturing Quality Insurance at Manifold/Welded parts Production Unit. In 2004, he became Head of Raw Material Purchasing, then from 2008 to 2010, he continues a Black Belt career in the Industrial Department where he led several lean projects in the Gennevilliers and Corbeil factories. In 2010, Sylvain joined the CFM Programs Department as Head of Operational Planning for CFM56. From 2011 to 2016, he held the position of LEAP-1A Program Manager, from the negotiation of the purchase agreement with Airbus to the certification of the engine and the preparation for entry into service. In 2016, Sylvain became Responsible for the NMA program and managed the response to Boeing's call for tenders. Since 2019, Sylvain has been in charge of the CFM RISE demonstration program.
