Engine Health Monitoring allows helicopter operators to track the engine life parameters and implement predictive maintenance actions to prevent unplanned events.
Intended for nine-to-twelve ton heavyweight helicopters, the Makila 2 engine spans a power range of between 1,800 and 2,100 shp. It powers all Airbus Helicopters H215 and H225 variants.

The online technical publications service Web IETP (Interactive Electronic Technical Publications) is available for most engine families (Arriel, Arrius, TM 333, Ardiden 1, Makila and RTM 322). It includes, amongst others, the maintenance manual as well as the spare parts and tooling catalogues. It is available online for free on our customer portal.
Installed in the AVIC AC352 helicopter, the WZ16 is the first jointly-developed aero engine to be entirely certified by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
