Expert in advanced fly-by-wire pilot control systems, Safran provides fully integrated systems combining primary pilot controls and the control stand. With its highly modularized design, the PCS system features low weight and reduced envelope.

The artificial feel feedback and the mechanical coupling of both rudder and brake pedals allow the pilot and copilot to precisely control the aircraft yaw, braking and ground steering, all while improving their situation awareness.

Operated by the pilot or the autopilot, the Safran Electronics & Defense’s Throttle Control Assembly (TCA / TCQ) commands the thrust of each engine during the flight or on ground. As an essential human-machine interface, it reduces the pilot workload during the thrust adjustments.

The control column and wheel yoke assemblies enable to precisely control the aircraft’s pitch and roll. They provide tactile and visual cues of the aircraft behavior to the pilots, ensuring an optimum flight safety.
