The GSG-8 GNSS Simulator helps you test your Positioning, Navigation and Timing equipment. With the GSG-8 you can generate real RF signals that can simulate satellite signals. This GPS simulator supports hundreds of satellite signals, multi-constellation, and multi-frequency simulations. The GSG-8 is powered by Safran's groundbreaking Skydel software. Skydel allows you to run any simulation you want, with any number of vehicles, interference, environment that you need to rigorously test your GPS receivers.
With the Skydel GSG-8 Simulator, you can generate real RF signals to simulate how your receiver device will react in the real world, under the simulation parameters that you set. You can control every detail of your simulation, including motion trajectories, space-borne vehicles, custom PNT signals, and even complex hardware-in-the-loop simulations.
The GSG-8 contains multiple GPUs and multiple software-defined radios inside the chassis, which allows you to simulate both standard satellite signals, as well as interference signals, all at the same time. The interference simulation capabilities such as jamming and spoofing allow you to test what happens to the accuracy of your receiver device when it encounters troublesome signals. Because of the software-defined architecture, the GSG-8 is able to simulate hundreds of satellite signals in real time, and it gives you the control to change settings during the simulation.
You can take advantage of the automation capabilities of the GSG-8 and Skydel by tapping into the API and running simulations remotely.
