Passenger oxygen systems

The result of proven system integrator experience, Safran Aerosystems oxygen systems offer a complete range of innovative solutions, including oxygen generation and distribution systems and passenger oxygen regulation systems.
Passenger oxygen generation and distribution

Hi-EFF® chemical oxygen generation solutions
Chemical oxygen generators are the optimal solution in the event of an emergency aircraft descent. Designed for one to four people, Safran Aerosystems Hi-EFF® solid-state generators are small and light to meet the constraints on board commercial aircraft.

Oxygen mask deployment system
The Safran Aerosystems passenger mask deployment system uses detachable cartridges mounted on a manifold plate for seamless integration and unparalleled aesthetics. Easy to test and maintain, it is also reliable and hassle-free. It can be mounted at various angles with single, double and triple mask configuration options available.

Gaseous or chemical oxygen drop-out-boxes (DOB)
Safran Aerosystems offers a full range of customized gaseous drop-out boxes, including low-profile boxes and quick disconnect fittings, with a variet latching, mask ejection and mounting styles. The Safran Aerosystems offer also includes a wide range of integrated chemical oxygen distribution system containers that ensure immediate oxygen availability without requiring high pressure.

Safe and reliable oxygen solutions for lavatories
Designed to comply with FAA AD 2012-11-09, the Safran Aerosystems LAVOX® cylinder assembly provides oxygen to passengers occupying the lavatory during a cabin depressurization event for up to 22 minutes. Safe, reliable and easy to install, it is compatible with Hi-EFF® passenger masks and fits into existing lavatory DOB
Passenger oxygen regulation

A wide range of control devices to regulate passenger oxygen
From the ultra-precise remote oxygen regulator to the electrical override enabling the pilot to control the oxygen flow mode, Safran Aerosystems offers a wide range of control devices to regulate passenger oxygen. Controlled by discrete signals from an oxygen cockpit panel, software-free, Electronic Flow Control Unit (EFCU) controls the automatic deployment of passenger masks without the need for software, optimizing regulation at all altitudes in compliance with FAR requirements.
