Key functions
The Series 30 SOM key functions include navigation safety and intelligence gathering. In addition to its advanced above-the-surface search capabilities, Series 30 SOM can function as an automatic aerial alarm, make use of a laser, receive aerial telecommunications and GPS signals or use an ESM electronic-warfare sensor.
