System Engineering
MBSE - Model-Based System Engineering
In a domain where systems architectures are more and more complex due to the increase of embedded software and electronics, Safran Engineering Services defines methods of design and management of complex systems over their life cycle.
A visual representation of the system to see and manage different parts of the system as a whole.
A common base that makes it easier for technical teams to collaborate throughout the development process.
Visualization of interdependencies minimizes errors and quality issues, especially when changes are made.
Our MBSE Offer
With more than 20 years of experience and expertise in avionic systems, critical embedded system, embedded real-time software architectures, engineering support to airlines and agile applicative software development, Safran Engineering Services has developed a strong MBSE offer from specification to certification, including its own methods and tools (XATIS software).
A strong knowledge in complex systems
MBSE Support
Safran Engineering Services supports its customers with the implementation of complex systems engineering based on the Cesam design grid. For example, the company has worked hand in hand with its customers to design hybrid engine complex system aircraft.
XATIS
A simple tool for complex systems
Safran Engineering Services has developed a software package that simplifies and optimizes the design of complex systems. Right from the initial phase of identifying needs and defining specifications, users can use XATIS to fill out their CESAM design grid. During the pre-project phase, XATIS allows evaluation and comparison of several potential solutions and improves collaborative work between the client, key partners and suppliers. During the project, XATIS aims to reduce development cycles, master the scope changes, control design traceability on requirements and manage subsystem integration.
