Lubrication units for aircraft engines
Lubrication units for aircraft engines
The lubrication unit for commercial and military turbofans is a flagship product of Safran Aero Boosters, which, with 40 years of experience and some 20 references to its credit, has acquired cutting-edge experience on this equipment.
For medium-haul aircraft engine
75% market share of the lubrication units
Lubrication units, which are mounted directly onto the engine’s accessory gearbox, are crucial for correct propulsion. The equipment pressurizes the oil from the oil tank and distributes it around the engine parts requiring lubrication before cooling and filtering it prior to returning it to the tank.
Safran Aero Boosters offers comprehensive solutions: design, engine integration, development, certification, product engineering and industrialization (provision of fast prototyping techniques) and in-service support. The company operates under partnership contracts and exclusive supplier agreements with engine manufacturers. It also provides support to airlines and maintenance centers.
Design, development, manufacture & maintenance of lubricating and cooling equipment
With its wide range of equipment, Safran Aero Boosters has sound experience in lubricating and cooling commercial, military aircraft engines and helicopter engines. As a partner of many engine manufacturers, the company specializes in lubrication units, oil tanks, heat exchangers and special valves.
Safran Aero Boosters offers total solutions from integration of products into the engine right through to design, manufacture, maintenance and in-service support. Extremely high performance and high innovation levels due to continuous input from Research and Technology teams characterize these solutions.
Comprehensive solutions on a single site
One of Safran Aero Boosters’ strengths is its ability to carry out every stage of the manufacturing process.
The company has its own test cells to test lubrication units in a functional environment simulating all the speed, altitude and pressure conditions to which engines are subjected.
