Helicopter High Power Engines
Helicopter High Power Engines

Safran's high power engine family is designed to power super-medium and heavy helicopters and covers a power range from 2,500 to 3,000 shp. It includes the RTM322 and Aneto engines.
Designed to perform in demanding environments
The RTM322, with 2,100 to 2,600 shp, powers most of the NH90 and AW101 helicopters in service worldwide. Its state-of-the-art technologies enable it to perform in extremely demanding environments and meet the operational requirements of 14 armed forces worldwide: tactical transport, search and rescue (SAR) at sea and in combat zones, and maritime missions, including anti-submarine warfare.
The Aneto family is designed to power super-medium and heavy helicopters, and covers a power range from 2,500 to 3,000 shp. The Aneto-1K, certified in 2019, powers the Leonardo AW189K and AW149. Its 2,500 shp power rating provides these aircrafts a competitive advantage, particularly in hot & high conditions and demanding environments. The Aneto-1A has been selected to power the Airbus Racer high-speed helicopter demonstrator, and benefits from the Eco-mode hybridization concept.
The Aneto features optimized support thanks to a reduced maintenance schedule and the integration of a particle separator to protect the compressors.
