Data Acquisition Systems for Flight Control Systems Sensors

The Data Acquisition System for Flight Control System (FCS) sensors is basically an acquisition solution which acquires, monitors, the data pertaining to different sensors of Line Replaceable Unit’s (LRU’s). The system is capable of testing and acquiring data from LRU’s by conducting two tests. “Self-Test on Sensors” and “Pre-Installation Test” the data logger has built-in signal conditioning making the direct interfacing of sensors possible.

The system is based on the National Instruments modular and scalable PXI platform.

Parachute Drop Data Logger

Parachute data logger is a compact, rugged and embedded field mountable data logging platform with the flexibility of the sensor connectivity & software reprogram ability. System module permits the future expansion or modification on demand basis. It is based on RTOS (Real-Time Operating System) / FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) technologies and compatible with programming using the LabVIEW environment.

It contains ruggedized MIL grade enclosure protection the DAQ while performing the Drop Test. The solution also includes onboard multiple AI’s, Strain, Vibration etc. parameters along with some serial inputs.
