FOG for ultra-long-range electro-optical systems

The FOG inertial measurement unit is a critical component in gun/turret/gimbal stabilization systems. Multispectral day/night observation requires accurate targeting to meet users evolving mission requirements, even for the most critical tasks, while also keeping workload manageable. A FOG unit integrated in a thermal imager ensures a stabilized line-of-sight and video channel to observe the battlefield day and night.

Focus on making a fiber optic component

Multiple axis fiber-optic gyroscopes

Equipped with high-performance closed-loop FOG & MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) accelerometers, our FMUs ensure:

- Accuracy & integrity, guaranteed by the best quality of sensors and algorithms

- Robustness & reliability, guaranteed by deep disruptive innovations

- Low-life-cycle cost, guaranteed by a very high MTBF & low maintenance cost
