XMA-ROTOR, a wireless acquisition system for rotating parts

XMA-ROTOR, a wireless modular acquisition system for rotor heads

XMA-ROTOR offers high performance XMA modules technology integrated in a mechanical housing dedicated to helicopter rotor instrumentation. The XMA-ROTOR replaces legacy slip ring technology offering a full wireless/contactless link between the rotor and the stator. Power is transferred via inductive coupling. Acquired data, health monitoring information, configuration data and synchronization signals are transferred over a bi-directional radio link. The XMA-ROTOR is scalable and can host from 2 to 16 XMA modules of various kinds: analog, digital, discrete, video… The XMA-ROTOR is designed to cope with environmental conditions of civil and military rotorcraft. Designed to operate seamlessly with existing flight test systems, the XMA-ROTOR is fully compatible with Safran Data Systems architecture.

Safran Data Systems D19

D19-GT/-GTS Download Station, a fast and secure system for data download and distribution

The D19-GT/-GTS Download Station allows secure and fast data download from MDR or MDR-GT Storage Modules. Data can be quickly downloaded via 40 Gbit Ethernet. To ensure the best security for the FTI data, the MDR-GTS/D19-GTS system offers a data at rest protection feature. With this secure feature, the D19-GTS can access the encrypted FTI data in a protected MDR-GTS storage canister. Therefore, FTI data can be securely transferred to another network. The D19-GTS can also be used for firmware updates for the MDR-GTS via the RSOD (Removable Secure Operational Disk). Through this feature, the highest security standard for the MDR-GTS can be ensured. The D19-GT/-GTS features a comfortable WebUI for setup and configuration. Different user accounts with specific access rights can be defined separately. The secure operating system used is Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
