Safran Aerosystems evacuation slides and slides/rafts are the result of more than 80 years of innovation and experience. They equip major aeronautical programs in the commercial, regional and military aviation sectors.

Efficient materials

Designed to meet the performance requirements of FAA standard TSO-C69, Safran Aerosystems slides are manufactured based on a urethane-coated nylon fabric with special radiant heat reflection characteristics. These materials help preserve the integrity of the slide when it is exposed to heat from ground fires. Safran Aerosystems evacuation systems are also designed to remain stable at all possible adverse altitudes. From development to certification, 150 to 200 deployment tests are carried out on each slide reference produced.
