The Thrust Control Valve’s

Main function

The Thrust Control Valve adjusts the mass flow of a high-pressure fluid thanks to a throttling device rotated by a motorized geared electric actuator. The valve is able to adjust its position to a commanded position when used with an electronic controller (VCU).

Space Equipment

Design, development, assembly & testing of flow regulation valves for space launcher engines and stages

Space equipement - Safran Aero Boosters - VP - Vinci Engine.

Safran Aero Boosters specializes in flow regulation valves for space propulsion. With a strong focus on Research and Technology, the company is a partner on most future European launcher propulsion programs. Safran Aero Boosters’s equipment is developed under extreme conditions of temperature, pressure, vibration and flow and has demonstrated 100% reliability over 45 years. The company is able to hardness this high-level expertise to provide flow regulation valves (pneumatic/electric – linear/rotative) for most of propulsion systems on launchers.
