The Embraer E170/175 nacelle systems contribute to both the aircraft and propulsion system performance: they are aerodynamic, robust, and contribute to the braking process of the aircraft. They also enable engine noise reduction and perform a braking function on landing. An after-sales service is available 24/7.

Light: The nacelles benefit from optimized mass through the use of composite materials

Quiet: The aerodynamic nacelles reduce the engine noise through their acoustic treatment

Robust and reliable: The thrust reversers are proven design systems

Embraer 175

The Embraer E170/175 MHD nacelle systems

The Embraer E170/175 MHD nacelle systems incorporate a cascade thrust reverser which benefits from composite acoustic panels and a fixed internal structure of carbon composite. The Embraer 170 program, which started in 1999, came into service in March 2004 while the Embraer 175 came into service in July 2005.
