Data Acquisition and Control System - DACS
Data Acquisition and Control System for Test Cells
Safran Test Cell’s DACS, Cyres and Ceres, includes the hardware and software installations needed to collect all the engine parameters, to operate the engine and the facility and to monitor the running of the test.
A flexible and reliable system
Drawing on its experience of more than 200 test cells around the world, Safran Test Cells has developed its own Data Acquisition and Control System (DACS), called Cyres.
Featuring standard architecture that combines hardware and software designed to acquire vital engine parameters and control the test sequence, Cyres is characterized by high reliability (over 100 operational DACS systems) and flexibility (can be configured for all engine types and all types of tests).
Cyres and its predecessor, Ceres, include integrated troubleshooting tools and are supported 24/7 on 3 continents with remote access capabilities for online direct interventions.
7 steps to a custom-built system
Define sensors list, steady states and transient recording, etc.
Create your visualization screens.
Create the calculations for all the realtime computed parameters.
Analyze test data, create reports.
Automate your test up to a full automatic system including throttle movement.
Control your measurement accuracy.
Control your engine and facility.
