Cortex CRT, Satellite Command & Control modem for satellite housekeeping

Safran Data Systems’ Cortex CRT is the COTS modem to support any satellite (LEO/MEO/GEO) at any time from manufacturing to operation in orbit. Based on a flexible design, Cortex CRT technology is available in different form factors and architectures (all-in-one-box, virtualized software modem) to meet your system requirements. More than 6,000 deployed units compatible and field proven with all commercial satellite platforms make Cortex CRT the risk-free Command & Control (C2) modem within the space community. Enabling an RF recorder and reproducer mode on top of its demodulation and modulation capabilities, Cortex CRT ensures you will not lose any critical data and simplify ground station readiness testing (collimation tower transmission) and satellite compatibility testing.

Cortex HDR, High data rate receiver for space science and Earth observation

The Cortex HDR is the solution for high data rate reception in X and Ka-band. With 1000+ units deployed worldwide, Cortex HDR is the risk-free solution for data reception that can meet any ground station architecture (legacy, virtualized, cloud-based, …). Designed for future generations, it can handle high speed demodulation of up to six channels with an aggregate bit rate as high as 10 Gbps. With its flexible satellite check-out interfaces, it will make your next mission qualification easier and faster. Enabling a wideband RF recording and reproducing mode (2.4 GHz bandwidth) on top of its demodulation capabilities, the Cortex HDR ensures you will not lose any critical data and proves to be a comprehensive tool for ground station readiness testing (collimation tower) and satellite check out operations.
