Nowadays, telematics is more than essential in cars. Indeed, it allows to perform very important functions, such as optimizing traffic, helping to ensure the safety of the driver and passengers, and even providing an automatic emergency call in case of an accident. The key element of this technology is the so-called Telematics Control Unit (TCU). Captronic Systems offers a solution, the Telematics Control Unit (TCU) Tester, to ensure the correct operation of the unit. The system is thus able to simulate a realistic connected on-road environment that creates virtual driving by taking into account different parameters.
While in operation, the TCU Tester combines all these parameters to recreate a realistic simulation of the moving vehicle.
