The Arriel 2K is designed from proven and robust core engine technologies at the latest standard, featuring a compressor assembly (one axial and one centrifugal compressor) providing a high pressure ratio in a compact assembly and an annular combustion chamber for stable, clean and efficient fuel-burn. The Arriel 2K features optimized engine interface adaptations with AW09
100% safety oriented while reducing the workload for the pilot in all flight conditions, the Arriel 2K includes three channels of engine control with the latest generation of a dual channel FADEC, and an integrated engine automatic control system as backup.
The Arriel 2K is compatible with all the range of Safran EngineLife services.
As all Safran engines, the Arriel 2K is compatible with Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).
