The A320ceo program started in March 1984, and came into service in April 1988. In October 2020, 36 years after the signature of the thrust reverser production contract for the A320ceo, Safran Nacelles delivered the 9,532nd and final thrust reverser for the CFM International CFM56-5A/-5B engine on the Airbus best-selling aircraft.
