WEFA Technology is Volaris choice

Volaris, Mexico’s second largest airline, based in Santa Fe, with its main base located at the Tijuana International Airport, in Tijuana, and with its fleet of sixty five A320’s (44 A320NEO’s on order), has selected  Safran Electronics & Defense Wireless Extension For Aircraft Condition Monitoring System (WEFA / ACMS). Volaris is the first airline in the America’s to install WEFA on their entire fleet.

The WEFA technology is part of the Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) suite offered by Safran Electronics & Defense and is the worldwide best solution to manage airlines flight data and to assure that the data is transferred safely and effortlessly. This extremely efficient technology stores data collected by the ACMS  in a WEFA card. WEFA allows airlines to reduce costs associated with data collection, it prevents data loss and delays thanks to the continuous and fully automated aircraft data recovery.

With both international and domestic flights, Volaris has made Safety their number one priority and that is why they have selected the WEFA solution, which combined with AGS for flight data analysis, rounds out their suite of FDM products.  With this combination of powerful FDM products, Volaris shows its commitment to having one of the best FOQA and Flight Safety Management programs around.
