Success for a very special 2017 OEM seminar

The 5^th edition of the China OEM Seminar is unique as it was held for the first time in the city of Shenzhen (Guangdong province, China), on November 28^th and 29^th.

 

Marc Delort, our Vice President in charge of OEM sales, and Bernard Plaza, Safran Helicopter Engines China new General Manager co-animated this day.

 

On AVIC side, we were honored to welcome Mr Zhang Yan, General Manager of AVIC International, and Mr Wu Xiaowen, Deputy General Manager of Changhe (AVICopter).

 

In order to make this Seminar even more special, AVIC guests were able to also attend Safran Helicopter Engines Operator Symposium, held at the same place and same time. It was the opportunity for them to have an overall view of SafranHE activities in China, as well as be in contact and exchange with operators.

 

During the Seminar, AVIC guests attended workshops on SafranHE new engines, ready to power AVICopter’s future helicopters, as well as on SafranHE vision about new technologies in the helicopter field.

 

As a conclusion, a visit to COHC (CITIC Offshore Helicopter Corporation – offshore operator based in Shenzhen) was organized.

 

AVIC guests gave very positive feedback on this event, which was an opportunity for Safran Helicopter Engines and AVIC to celebrate and exchange on their long-time and fruitful relationship. The relation between the two companies was highly promoted, as their representatives could discuss about how to address together future challenges on Chinese helicopter market.
