Safran receives Airbus Customer Services Award for its after-sales service for electrical systems
Business
On July 18th, Airbus awarded Safran Electrical & Power the Customer Services Award, which is an excellent recognition in customer services for the power generation and distribution systems. This award, which confirms Safran Electrical & Power as one of Airbus’s best suppliers, was received at the Farnborough International Airshow.
Only 8 out of the 43 suppliers evaluated won the Customer Services Award. The suppliers are ranked using three criteria: the evaluation from the airlines that operate Airbus aircraft, the Airbus teams in charge of customer support and vendor management, and the operational performance metrics.
“This award recognizes the continuous efforts made by our Power division, specialist in power generation and distribution systems. The Power division has moved up 30 places into the airlines ranking within three years and, since two years, has confirmed its position among Airbus TOP10 suppliers, proving our ambition for an excellent support to our customers. This improved performance is the result of the work done every day with clients, on the field; on the operations side, to improve our performance and on the support side, to improve our products. We are keeping on with our plans for continuous improvement aiming to remain at the top of Airbus ranking and, above all, continuing to satisfy our customers” said enthusiastically Vincenzo Guerriero, Director of Customer Support & Services at Safran Electrical & Power.
