MorphoTrust CSO Joins Brandeis University’s Graduate Professional Studies Advisory Board

Kallelis Brings Identity & Security Expertise

Billerica, MA – January 6, 2016

Dennis Kallelis, Chief Security Officer at MorphoTrust USA (Safran), a leading provider of identity services and solutions, has been selected to serve as a member on Brandeis University’s Graduate Professional Studies (GPS) advisory board. Comprised of executives from a number of leading companies, universities, and other organizations, the GPS advisory board provides strategic input and expertise regarding the latest trends and insights from their respective industries. Advisory board members evaluate curriculum content to ensure that GPS graduates have the required skills to be leaders in their fields.

Kallelis was invited to serve on the GPS advisory board’s committee for the Master of Science in Information Security program along with other leading experts, including representatives from Sonatype, Harvard University, and Intel.

In this capacity, Kallelis will assist with the information security and insider threat components of the program, an area of deep expertise for him given his role in driving MorphoTrust’s security compliances. Kallelis will also bring extensive experience in computer science, privacy, identity solutions, security standards (ISO, ANSI, NASPO), biometrics and document forensics. In addition to serving the board in an advising capacity, Kallelis will assist with the board’s “Ask the Expert” program, which facilitates an industry expert speaking with students first-hand about their respective industry and fielding questions.

“Brandeis University is renowned as one of the country’s leading universities for producing industry ready graduates that have the skills to make corporations competitive, and it is an honor to serve as an advisor to its Graduate Professional Studies board,” said Kallelis. “It is great to be part of the Brandeis team that is ensuring GPS graduates are transformed into exceptional information security professionals prepared for relevant industry demands.”

Advisory members serve four years, with an option for two additional years. For more information about Brandeis University’s Graduate Professional Studies, check out www.brandeis.edu/gps.
