Marjolaine Grange appointed Safran EVP, Production, Purchasing and Performance

Marjolaine Grange has been appointed Executive Vice President, Production, Purchasing and Performance at Safran, effective May 1, 2022. She will replace Bruno Durand, appointed Vice President reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, in charge of preparing the Aubert & Duval transformation project. Marjolaine Grange joins Safran’s Executive Committee.

Marjolaine Grange started her career with Framatome as project manager. She moved to Snecma (now Safran Aircraft Engines) in 1999 within the Materials & Processes Division, where she held several management positions. In 2008 she joined Safran to contribute to the creation of the Materials & Processes Division and Safran Composites. Marjolaine Grange returned to Snecma in 2013 as head of the Materials & Processes Division, before being named in 2015 head of the composites center of excellence, dedicated to the design and production of composite parts for the LEAP engine. In 2019, she was named head of the compressors, combustors and structures center of excellence. In July 2020 she took up her current position as Executive Vice President, Quality, Improvement and Digital Transformation.

Marjolaine Grange, 48, graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon engineering school (1995) and holds a PhD from the Ecole nationale supérieure des Mines de Paris (1998).
