Jamal Lemridi named Safran General Delegate in Morocco

Jamal Lemridi was named Safran General Delegate in Morocco on February 1, replacing Hamid Benbrahim El Andaloussi.

Jamal Lemridi will represent Safran in relations with Moroccan authorities, and will support corporate management and all Safran companies in conducting their business in the country. He is also tasked with helping to develop business opportunities in Africa.

Jamal Lemridi performed his national civil service with the Moroccan flag carrier Royal Air Maroc from 1982 to 1984. He joined Crédit du Maroc, the Moroccan subsidiary of Crédit Agricole S.A. in 1984, spending his entire career with this French group and being named CEO in 2006. Today, he holds independent director positions with several financial firms, including Al Barid Bank (Banque Postale). He is a member of the Moroccan-Saudi business council in the Confédération Générale des Entreprises du Maroc (CGEM), the Moroccan employers’ federation.

Jamal Lemridi, 62, holds degrees from the Ecole Centrale de Paris engineering school (1980) and ENSAE Paris, a graduate school for economics, data science and finance (1982).
