Frédéric Lino appointed Vice President Purchasing of Safran Electrical & Power

Frédéric Lino has been appointed Vice President Purchasing of Safran Electrical & Power, effective December 1, 2019. He succeeds Patrick Prulhière, who has been named Vice President Purchasing of Safran Helicopter Engines.
Frédéric Lino began his career in 1995 as a Project Leader in Ergonomics at the Laboratory of Accidentology and Biomechanics, created by PSA Peugeot Citroën & Renault.
In 1999, he joined Renault Group, where he became successively Advanced Product Manager, Product Project Manager and Deputy Program Director.
In 2010, he was named Purchasing Executive Manager for raw materials for the Renault-Nissan Alliance, and became Purchasing Executive Manager for seats components in 2012.
He joined Safran in 2014 as Head of Raw Material Purchasing, before becoming Vice President of Purchasing at Safran Landing Systems for the Landing Gear division in 2016.
Frédéric Lino, 52, holds a Mechanical Engineering degree (Compiegne, University of Technology – 1990), a PhD in Biomechanics and Ergonomics (Paris XI, Orsay - 1994) and an Executive Master in International Purchasing Management (ESSEC Business School Paris /Singapore - 2012).
