First flight of the LEAP-1A powered AIRBUS A319neo

The Airbus A319neo powered by CFM International* LEAP-1A engines performed on March 31st its maiden flight.

The smallest member of the A320neo family took off from Hamburg and landed in Toulouse after a 5 hour flight.

During this flight, the crew has been able to assess the general handling of the aircraft and the main systems.
