Coralie Bouscasse named Group General Counsel of Safran

Coralie Bouscasse has been appointed Group General Counsel of Safran, effective June 1, 2016. She replaces Adam Smith, who has left the Group.
Coralie Bouscasse began her career in 1985 as deputy director of international relations at the French research agency CNRS before joining Thales in 1989. She held a series of positions with the group's legal affairs department, first in litigation and then in M&A. She was appointed Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of the Thales Air Systems Division in 2004 before joining the Land & Joint Systems Division in 2007 in the same capacity.
She joined Areva in March 2010 as Chief Legal Officer for the Reactors & Services branch, becoming Chief Legal Officer of the nuclear division in 2012 and then General Counsel for the Areva group in 2014.
Coralie Bouscasse is a graduate of Université de Paris I Sorbonne and holds post-graduate degrees in common market law and international legal relations.
