On April 20, Safran Electronics & Defense company Optics 1 hosted a group of veterans at an Army-Navy game held at Fenway Park in Boston.

The company provided local veterans, including several members of the New Hampshire Chapter of the Association of the United States Army with transportation and tickets to see the Army Black Knights baseball team take on the Midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy. Several Optics 1 employees – many of whom are veterans themselves – and their families accompanied the group of veterans for the outing.

Proceeds from the Army-Navy game will go towards the Home Base Program, a partnership between Massachusetts General Hospital and the Red Sox Foundation that helps veterans suffering from “invisible wounds of war" through world-class clinical care, wellness, education and research.

As a leading defense supplier to America's armed forces, Optics 1 is committed to supporting retired military and veterans’ causes.
