Tools to master the use of multi-core processors according to A(M)C 20-193 standards
Platforms using multi-core processors are becoming more common in mission-critical applications, especially in the aerospace industry. While they offer more computing power, they are also more complex to control. For this reason, the aeronautical certification authorities in the United States (FAA) and Europe (EASA) have jointly developed, under reference A(M)C 20-193, a guide containing specific objectives that companies must follow to use such processors in aircraft systems and equipment.
Asterios Technologies and Rapita Systems have developed a complete, easy-to-use solution with tools that help meet these goals and master multi-core processors.
