On September 24-25, Safran Helicopter Engines held its third Chinese customer council in Quanzhou. In this session, more than twenty representatives from twelve major Chinese civil helicopter operators were present. They engaged in in-depth discussions on commercial and technical topics with customer support managers and service engineers from Safran Helicopter Engines China and Aisa.

Marc Delort, the general manager of Safran Helicopter Engines China welcomed and thanked all customers and said: “Thanks to your support and active participation, the scale of the council grows every year. In this session, your voice will be carefully heard by Safran Helicopter engines team, allowing us to constantly improve our service and provide adapted solution for you.”

On the first day of the council, Patrick PENG, Director of Front Office in China, piloted a review of positive outcomes and opening topics from previous council sessions,  collectively discussing the progress of several major projects in China. Alvin SIM, Manager of the Service Engineer in the Asia Pacific region, provided a detailed introduction on technical topics regarding different engine variants. Wang Qiufeng, Quality Manager in China, briefed customers on the certification status in China, and our safety management system. In the afternoon, Marc Delort introduced the company’s future plans, including updates on cutting-edge technologies and the latest products, which impressed the customers.

On the second day, we invited Mr. Qi Qi, Executive Deputy Director of the Low Altitude Economy Industry Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Transportation Association, to deliver a keynote speech on the development of the low-altitude economy industry. We conducted interviews with several clients on the topics of the low-altitude economy and the helicopter market, discussing how to address new opportunities and challenges in the industrial development process. In the final closed-door meeting, we listened to suggestions from customers regarding the products and services of Safran Helicopter Engines. This open communication allows us to gain a clearer understanding of operators’ needs, and we will further improve the quality of our service to meet these specific needs and ensure the success of every flight mission for our customers.
