The strategic collaboration between Syrlinks, a global reference in RF communication systems for space, and U-Space, a French manufacturer of NanoSatellites, has taken a new turn ! Announced at this week's World Satellite Business Week 2023 conference in Paris, this alliance marks a significant milestone in the advancement of NanoSatellite capabilities

U-Space and Syrlinks: a strategic alliance

For over a year now, the two companies have been working together , initiating their partnership with the first program in the LEO-PNT field (Synchrocube project). This collaboration is now being strengthened in the context of large-scale NanoSatellite integration. U-Space, which specializes in the manufacture of these satellites, is ready to increase its manufacturing capacity to meet the needs of various satellite constellation programs.

"We're delighted to have been chosen by U-Space as their main RF component supplier for their NanoSatellite platforms" enthusiastically declares Eric PINSON, Director of Space Business at Syrlinks. "This is a great recognition of the Syrlinks team's expertise in designing high-performance radio components optimized for Nanosatellites" he adds.

The revolution in S-band receivers and X-band transmitters

At a time when the space industry is experiencing unprecedented growth and NanoSatellites are gaining in importance, U-Space is considerably expanding its production capacity to meet the pressing call from the space sector. This strategic decision comes against a backdrop marked by the rise of satellite constellations, redefining our use of space. The challenge? Preserving access to this crucial environment and ensuring its long-term use.

"Meeting the needs of manufacturers such as U-Space is our main objective at Syrlinks. We have anticipated needs with significant quantities over the past two years, setting up industrial capacity as required, and we are ready to help U-Space increase production," explains Ronan Foubert, Product Manager at Syrlinks.

N Xonos High Data Rate Transmitter

To achieve this ambitious goal, U-Space has selected Syrlinks' S-band receiver (EWC31 solution) and high-speed X-band telemetry transmitter (EWC27 and N-XONOS on the left) to equip all its product platforms.

The EWC31 solution offers the key advantages of compactness, reliability and extended service life, while the EWC27 and N-XONOS offers a complete range of X-band products capable of handling different data rates, from 100 Mbps to 400 Mbps, with flight-proven experience.
