Safran Electronics & Defense Avionics, USA
Educational background: I graduated as a language teacher in Brazil but most of my most of my experiences are related to Project Management and Project Support. My most recent certification is Project Management from UCI.
- Can you describe the type of projects you work on?
As a Senior Engineering Project Support Manager, I like to say that I am in the business of helping people. When someone needs help, their problem becomes my problem! Engineering Support is a very broad area and it is still a new concept in many companies. One of our main goals is to handle all non-technical aspects of engineering such as administration of Engineering Tools, Indirect Procurement, Customer Submittals, Formal Release of artifacts via our Enovia system and many more. We are experts on Engineering tools and processes.
- What aspect of your job motivates you?
I love how dynamic my job is when no two days are the same; firefighting and problem solving drive me.
- What is your biggest accomplishment in your career?
I have been involved with many special projects throughout my career, including five major facility moves but I am most proud of the recent role I played as one of the SAP Super-users that implemented Safran Electronics & Defense Avionics SAP a couple of years ago.

When I am not working, I spend time baking and watching horror movies with my family.
