Sensonor AS enters the Safran fold

Sensonor AS, a Norwegian company renowned worldwide for the quality and precision of its gyro sensors and MEMS(*) inertial systems, joins Safran Electronics & Defense, world number three in inertial navigation systems.
With this acquisition, Safran Electronics & Defense expands its portfolio of its existing and developing MEMS inertial solutions. This allows it to cover the entire performance area accessible to MEMs and in particular to address emerging market segments with new attitude measurement, stabilization and orientation functions, for civil, military and space applications.
