The second "Safran Day" conference devoted to Safran's strategy in Russia took place in Moscow on October 11, 2017. Among those attending were Stéphane Abrial, Senior Executive VP International and Public Affairs, Andrey Shibitov, Deputy CEO for Production and Innovations at Russian Helicopters, and Mikhail Pogossyan, President of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI).

The event brought together 65 Safran employees in Russia from five different cities (Moscow, Rybinsk, Samara, Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Tyumen). During the day, which was marked by a commitment to interactivity, attendees listened to presentations by keynote speakers and participated in six round tables organized on the following topics: Innovation, Teamwork, Safran Identity, Sense of belonging, Working synergy, and Management of cross-cutting projects.

"I think it is very important that this type of event enables Safran employees in Russia, who are spread out over a vast geographic area, to get to know each other, share their experiences and become collectively aware of what the strength of a united group like Safran represents," said Stéphane Abrial, Senior Executive VP International and Public Affairs.

"Safran Day 2017 was an outstanding success. It provided an opportunity to consolidate the Group's image in Russia, facilitate exchanges between employees and set objectives for coming months," added Valery Krol, Safran delegate in Russia.
