Safran’s strong presence in the Golden State is emphasized during National California Day

Corporate

California is one of 23 states across the U.S. where Safran has a significant footprint, with the representation of Safran Cabin, Safran Aerosystems, Safran Electronics & Defense, Safran Electrical & Power, Safran Power Units, and Safran Passenger Innovations.

Safran Cabin Huntington Beach

On the occasion of today’s annual National California Day observance, Safran is showcasing its industrial and support locations within the most populous U.S. state – as well as highlighting the company’s commitment to corporate citizenship by working to improve the lives of children through the Give & Grow foundation.

Aircraft interiors and in-flight entertainment systems

With Safran Cabin’s headquarters in Huntington Beach, this business is well established in California. Safran Cabin’s Design and Innovation Studio develops cutting-edge technologies to meet the industry’s ever-evolving needs. One such recent development is a line of clean cabin solutions.

Huntington Beach also is home to Safran Cabin's galley production facility that specializes in the design, manufacture, certification and marketing of high-quality galleys and other cabin structures. In Garden Grove, the company’s customer support site offers repair capabilities for Safran Cabin's entire North America product range and houses an AOG (Aircraft on Ground) response team.

Safran Cabin Santa Maria

Safran Cabin's business in Carson houses the headquarters for the Water & Waste Systems division and covers a wide range of products, including vacuum and recirculating toilets, galley waste disposal equipment, military crew seats, and airstairs.

Additionally, cabin interior solutions are manufactured and integrated by the company’s Santa Maria facility.

Local communities benefit from support through Safran Cabin’s Give & Grow foundation, which is dedicated to childhood education through the renovation of local schools, scholarships, and educational programs. The foundation provides support through three aspects: Create – by improving the physical condition of schools; Educate – tutoring children who need help; and Donate – donating various supplies to underprivileged families and schools.

In Brea, Safran Passenger Innovations develops in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems and connectivity systems for the airline industry worldwide. The company has designed an award-winning In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity (IFEC) system known as RAVE (the acronym for: Reliable, Affordable, and Very Easy) for both airlines and passengers.
