Key U.S. government officials and representatives experience the latest aerospace innovations at Safran’s booth

June 23, 2017

The Paris Air Show, the largest aerospace event in the world, is taking place this week from July 19-25. Safran is showcasing its entire range of aerospace and defense capabilities at its booth, current and future innovations at the Paris Air Lab and job opportunities at the “Careers Plane” employment/training forum.

Bringing together delegations from all over the world, the show is a strategic platform to spotlight the Group’s extensive range of aerospace and defense products and solutions.

As a major supplier to the U.S. aerospace and defense industry, Safran understands the importance of educating local, state, and federal government officials about the Group’s capabilities. The Safran USA team therefore took advantage of the Paris Air Show to invite key U.S. government officials to experience the Group’s aerospace and defense solutions first-hand.

Safran USA President & CEO Peter Lengyel, and Sam Zega, Vice President of Business Development, met with a diverse array of policy makers, including Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin, Congressman Rick Larsen (D-WA), Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, and Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin’s staff. Delegations from several other states, including South Carolina, North Carolina and Texas also experienced Safran’s full spectrum of products and technologies at the booth.

As the Group continues to expand in the United States, this is part of a larger effort to promote Safran as a trusted partner committed to growing jobs and economic vitality across the country. Safran companies across the United States welcome opportunities to host elected officials at their facilities to showcase our key talents, technologies and products.
