Safran takes part in the “Fabulous Factory” exhibition
A factory in the center of Paris? The event, initiated by the FIM (Federation of Mechanical Industries) and placed under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, aims to establish a close relationship between the general public and the factory by showing them its diversity, its promises and its challenges. As a major industrial player in the aerospace and defense sectors, in France and worldwide, Safran is taking part in this project within the framework of its partnership with GIFAS, the French aerospace industries association.
Organized at the Grand Palais in Paris from November 22 through 25, 2018, the exhibition named "L'Usine Extraordinaire" (The Fabulous Factory) showcases a 13,000 m² area featuring numerous activities and entertainment designed to show visitors the reality of today's factory and that of the future.
Come and follow Safran's actions in the various areas of the GIFAS and the "Fabulous Gallery", where future inventions such as its carbon brake technology, which equips the Airbus A350 XWB, are grouped together...
And find out about the Sky Maker application which provides information about all the jobs in the aeropsace sector, the Factory of the future with the "CampusFab", a school dedicated to the industry of the Future, located near Paris. The event is free of charge and open to all!
