Safran signs hourly support contract with Global Medical Response, Inc.

Safran Helicopter Engines has signed a contract with Global Medical Response, Inc. to support Arriel powering its H125, H130 and H145 series helicopter fleet. This contract formalizes a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and services agreement supporting over 87 Arriel engines.

This contract will be managed by Safran Helicopter Engines USA, which supports more than 400 operators including, Corporate, Emergency Medical Services, Tourism, Law Enforcement, Offshore, Utility and government agencies such as the U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Army, Customs and Border Protection, and FBI.

Thierry Derrien, Safran Helicopter Engines USA President and CEO, said: “We are pleased that Global Medical Response has signed this support contract with us. This will guarantee them a very high level of support in their medical transportation mission”.

This agreement was signed with Josh Brannon, GMR’s Vice President of Aircraft Maintenance, and Dmitiry Jidkov, GMR’s Vice President of Corporate Finance. “This agreement will provide the support we need for our rotor wing aircraft, which in turn will help ensure the safety of our patients and air medical crews,” Brannon said. “Our team appreciates the highly trained technicians and staff at Safran who will assist with our mission to provide care to the world at a moment’s notice.”
