Safran Seats USA is named "Employer of Excellence" in Texas

Safran Seats USA was honored to receive the Employer of Excellence Award from employment services provider Workforce Solutions Texoma earlier this month at the 23rd Annual Texas Workforce Conference.

Bestowed on December 5, the award honors one private-sector employer in each local workforce development area that is actively involved with Workforce Solutions Texoma. It recognizes an employer that has, as a customer and collaborator with the Local Workforce Development Board, created and used innovative approaches that have benefited the local economy and workforce significantly.

Workforce Solutions Texoma nominated Safran Seats USA, the largest employer in Cooke County for more than 50 years, for being instrumental in supporting both the current and future workforce through participation in the Cooke County Manufacturing Consortium, career day activities, and the Teacher Externship Program, as well as for providing manufacturing tours for students and teachers.

Since 2015, the employees of Safran Seats USA have contributed $575,000 to local nonprofits and independent school districts. Safran Seats USA has proven that manufacturing companies can work together with the workforce, education, and economic development to create a viable partnership to grow future workforce employees.
