Safran Seats is honored by United Way for the company’s community support
United Way of Cooke County has acknowledged Gainesville, Texas-based Safran Seats for the continuous support from its employees, including a $50,000 contribution made in 2021 to the organization toward their 2022 campaign – which strives to address social issues and mobilize resources to create a better future for those in need.
Safran Seats received a “Pacesetter” award and one of three “Top Large Business” awards in recognition of this activity, building upon the decade-long cooperation between the company and the United Way chapter of Cooke County – where this Safran Seats business is located.
Last year, Safran Seats raised over $60,000 for the United Way of Cooke County through its employee fundraising. Additionally, the company has sponsored other United Way fundraising events, such as Power of the Purse – a “ladies’ night out” created to bring strong women together to make a difference. Safran Seats also holds a seat on the United Way Board of Directors to help further its partnership and commitment to the local community.
Safran Seats is an award-winning contributor to the Gainesville community through its support of 70 organizations and eight local school districts over the past six years. The company's Community Involvement Program – which is fully funded by employees – generates contributions through a system that allocates funds to local organizations on a monthly basis.
