To promote women's leadership education, development and growth, Women@Safran North America has partnered with the Leading Ladies Of… movement to bring “Level Up” sessions to Safran employees.

With the one-year Level Up partnership, access to a variety of content is available on a dedicated web portal that went live on July 15.

Underscoring Women@Safran North America’s commitment to advancing women within the organization, “Level Up” will give Women@Safran groups, individuals, and male allies access to peer learning sessions and pre-recorded video workshops at a discounted rate.

Peer learning sessions include subject-specific workshops with advance reading and facilitation instructions. With pre-recorded video workshops, employees will have access to videos on a variety of topics along with integrated activities.  Among the topics to be covered by the “Level Up” sessions are resilience, career management, communication skills, developing confidence, organizational politics, managing workplace emotion, stakeholder management, and managing upward.

“We are excited to offer ‘Level Up’ – a new alliance with Leading Ladies Of… – that brings leadership courses for local Women@Safran chapter meetings,” said Beth DeYoung, Safran Cabin’s Vice President - Marketing and Strategy, and President of the Women@Safran Steering Committee. “My thanks to Safran North America’s Human Resources and Communications departments for sponsoring this at the corporate level, bringing a resource hub of skill-building workshops to Women@Safran.”

Fiona McKay, Founder and Champion of the Leading Ladies of… movement, added: “Leading Ladies Of… helped launch ‘Tools for Turbulence,’ the first virtual workshop for Women@Safran early in the pandemic, and we are so pleased to continue this relationship with the launch of ‘Level Up.’ Through this program, we will offer one year of access to Leading Ladies Of … leadership workshops on important topics such as ‘Executive Presence’ and ‘Resilience.’”

Under the partnership, Leading Ladies Of… will provide Women@Safran with courses to access for a nominal fee and download and run at local business sites, as well as a number of free and discounted tickets to attend its annual Aerospace Virtual Summits – which bring together hundreds of participants across the aerospace industry for a half-day agenda featuring keynotes and panels.

Launched in 2019, Women@Safran North America’s vision is to attract, develop, retain, and inspire female professional talent – providing professional development and enabling both their career success and Safran's growth as company. Women@Safran also is focused on engaging participation within, and between, Safran North America facilities.

The approach of Leading Ladies Of… is to create cross-company communities of support by creating events and programs that embrace courage, collaboration and compassion.
