Safran recognized for quality of schools relations
At the second Agires Synergie awards ceremony in Paris on June 6, Safran was singled out for trophies by engineering schools and by universities. A fitting reward for everyone involved in the Group’s relations with these institutions.
Trophies honoring relations with higher education
The Synergie Campus Entreprises association brings together 30 or more campus managers from major French and international companies. Its stated aim is to foster dialogue and exchange with higher education institutions and to plan and promote ways of working together. For the second year in a row, it jointly organized an awards ceremony with Agires Développement to recognize the quality and innovative nature of relations between companies and higher education. The Agires Développement association works to promote higher education with the goal of obtaining jobs or apprenticeships and has a membership of over 80 schools and universities.
For the 2019 awards, 30 companies were shortlisted, along with 80 institutions of higher education. A range of criteria were considered, including the diversity and consistency of corporate-schools relations, the responsiveness and availability of the people involved and the quality and innovative nature of employer brand and recruitment actions. Awards were handed to 10 winners at a ceremony in Paris on June 6. Safran earned second place in two categories: top companies voted by engineering schools and top companies voted by universities.
Safran’s schools relations policy recognized
Each year, Safran pursues almost 250 initiatives aimed at students at partner schools and universities to promote jobs and careers in our industry and recruit the most talented graduates for internships, work-study placements, doctoral research positions, VIE international volunteer internships and, ultimately, permanent employment. Safran has forged partnerships with 20 or more of France’s top universities and engineering schools as a way to connect and engage with students.
The trophies awarded on June 6 by the heads of corporate relations at engineering schools and universities are a fitting reward for the hard work of everyone involved in schools relations at Safran — the Recruitment Policy and Attractiveness Department, the corporate and company HR teams and our 260 schools ambassadors.
